2. Which personal data do we process?

When you contact us or commission a project, we may process your name, contact details, organisation and role, correspondence, appointments, project information, and invoicing and payment details. The web server may also record technical log data, such as IP address, browser type, page visited, date and time.

3. Purposes and legal bases

4. Who receives personal data?

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only when required for a project, administration, hosting, email services or security, or where the law requires this. Where appropriate, we make privacy and security arrangements with parties that process personal data on our behalf.

5. Retention

We do not retain data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Correspondence that does not lead to further contact is deleted when it is no longer relevant. Project and client data is retained for the project, aftercare and possible legal claims. Financial records subject to Dutch tax retention rules are generally retained for seven years. Technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and administration. When Google Analytics is activated, user-level and event-level retention in the GA4 property will be set to two months.

6. Google Analytics, cookies and consent

This website is prepared for Google Analytics 4. The Google tag and analytics cookies are not loaded by default. Only after you expressly consent to the Statistics category may Google Analytics process information about pages visited, sessions, device and browser characteristics, referral source and approximate location. The legal basis is your consent.

Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics. Data may also be processed within the Google organisation outside the European Economic Area. Google uses applicable transfer mechanisms, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and contractual safeguards. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation, Google Signals and sharing advertising user data remain disabled in the website code.

You may refuse or later withdraw consent through Cookie preferences in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, Analytics consent is set to denied, recognisable GA cookies for this website are removed and Analytics is no longer loaded on the next page load. See our cookie policy for details.

7. Your privacy rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may also object to processing or withdraw previously given consent. Not every right applies in every situation. Send requests to info@bonapartmedia.com. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority through autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

8. Security and updates

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This statement may be updated when our services, website or applicable law changes. The latest version is always published on this page.
